Description
Daboral Syrup 125mg/5ml 60ml is an antiprotozoal medication containing Aminosidine Sulphate (Paromomycin), an aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against various intestinal protozoal infections. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as:

Amoebiasis

Tapeworm infections (though not the first choice of treatment)

Suppression of intestinal flora pre-operatively and in the management of hepatic encephalopathy
Dosage and Administration:

Adults:

Amoebiasis, Giardiasis, Balantidiasis: 500 mg twice daily for 5–7 days.

Cryptosporidiosis: 500 mg four times daily for 14 days.

Gastroenteritis due to mixed flora: 500 mg twice daily for 5–7 days.

Prophylactic sterilization in gastrointestinal surgery: 2 g daily for 3 days.

Amoebiasis, Giardiasis: 30 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 5–7 days.

Gastroenteritis: 30 mg/kg/day in two divided doses for 5–7 days.

Prophylactic sterilization: 50 mg/kg/day for 3 days.
