Amoxiclav Claxy 375 mg tablets contain 250 mg of amoxicillin and 125 mg of clavulanic acid. This antibiotic combination effectively treats infections caused by bacteria resistant to amoxicillin alone by blocking bacterial enzymes.
Uses:
It is prescribed for infections like sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin infections, dental infections, and bone infections.
Dosage:
Usually, one tablet every 12 hours with food to minimize stomach discomfort. Follow the full prescribed course for best results.
Precautions:
Not for those allergic to penicillin or clavulanic acid. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver issues or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
