Indications
RIVALEXIN Dry Suspension is used for treating bacterial infections including:

Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis)

Otitis media (middle ear infections)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Bone and joint infections

Urinary tract infections

Dental infections
Dosage and Administration

Children: Usually 25–100 mg/kg/day divided into doses every 6 to 12 hours, not exceeding 4 grams daily.

Adults: 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 hours, depending on severity.
Reconstitute the dry powder with the specified amount of water before use. Shake well before each dose. Administer after meals to reduce stomach upset. Follow the healthcare provider’s directions.
Contraindications
