Description
AMDOCAL PLUS 25 combines amlodipine and atenolol to treat high blood pressure and chest pain. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels, while atenolol slows the heart rate, together reducing the heart’s workload and improving blood flow.
The usual dose is one tablet daily, with or without food, taken at the same time each day. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response.
Common side effects include dizziness, swelling of ankles, flushing, fatigue, and awareness of heartbeat. These effects are generally mild and often improve with time. Contact your healthcare provider if symptoms persist.
