Description
CEFUROME Suspension 125mg/5ml (50ml) contains Cefuroxime axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic formulated as an oral suspension. It is commonly prescribed in pediatric patients for the effective treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Indications:
CEFUROME Suspension is indicated for the treatment of infections including:

Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis)

Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., acute bronchitis, mild to moderate pneumonia)

Urinary tract infections

Skin and soft tissue infections

Acute otitis media

Early Lyme disease (in children over 2 years, when appropriate)
Dosage and Administration:
Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use to ensure a uniform suspension. Administer orally after food to enhance absorption and reduce the risk of gastrointestinal upset. Dosage should be based on the child’s weight, age, and clinical condition. Use a calibrated measuring device for accurate dosing.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Cefuroxime, other cephalosporins, or beta-lactam antibiotics.

Side Effects:
