Description

DICLOFENAC (ROKON) 100MG TABS 100’S are oral tablets containing diclofenac sodium 100mg, a highly effective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). These tablets are formulated to provide powerful relief from pain and inflammation associated with various acute and chronic conditions.

Active Ingredient:

• Diclofenac Sodium 100mg

Indications:

• Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis

• Management of acute musculoskeletal pain including sprains, strains, and trauma

• Relief from postoperative and post-injury inflammation and pain

• Control of dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps)

• Other inflammatory disorders where NSAIDs are indicated

Mechanism of Action:

Diclofenac works by selectively inhibiting the enzymes cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which are essential for the synthesis of prostaglandins—compounds that mediate pain, inflammation, and fever. By decreasing prostaglandin production, ROKON 100MG tablets reduce pain and inflammation effectively.

Dosage & Administration:

• The recommended dose is usually 100mg once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the condition and physician guidance

• Tablets should be taken with food or milk to reduce gastrointestinal irritation

• Swallow tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew

• Dosage adjustments may be necessary based on patient response and tolerance

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, cardiovascular disease, or renal/hepatic impairment

• Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy
