Description
ZOCEF 250mg Tablets contain Cefuroxime axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. This oral formulation is used to treat a variety of mild to moderate bacterial infections and offers convenient dosing for outpatient care.
Indications:
ZOCEF 250mg is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

Upper respiratory tract infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and sinusitis

Lower respiratory tract infections including acute bronchitis and mild community-acquired pneumonia

Skin and soft tissue infections

Dosage and Administration:
Tablets should be taken orally, preferably after food to improve absorption and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort. The typical dose for adults is 250mg twice daily, or as prescribed based on the infection type and severity. It is important to complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms resolve early.
Contraindications:
