MONTELUKAST (LUXAT) 10mg Tablets (28’s) are used for the long-term management of asthma and the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium 10mg, a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks leukotrienes—chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, airway constriction, and allergy symptoms.
LUXAT 10mg helps prevent asthma symptoms such as wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing. It is also effective in treating seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), reducing nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. Additionally, it may help prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.
This 28-tablet pack provides a four-week supply of once-daily treatment, making it convenient for consistent use. MONTELUKAST (LUXAT) is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older, and should be taken regularly in the evening, with or without food. It is not intended for acute asthma attacks.
