Description

ARCOXIA 120MG TABS 28’S contains etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor belonging to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication is designed to reduce pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Indications:

• Osteoarthritis: Reduces pain and inflammation in the joints.

• Rheumatoid Arthritis: Alleviates symptoms such as pain and swelling.

• Ankylosing Spondylitis: Manages pain and stiffness in the spine.

• Acute Gouty Arthritis: Provides relief during gout attacks.

• Postoperative Dental Pain: Short-term relief following dental procedures.

Dosage:

The recommended dose for acute pain or gout attacks is 120 mg once daily, limited to a maximum of 8 days. For osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, the usual dose is 60 mg to 90 mg once daily, depending on individual response. For dental pain, 90 mg once daily is recommended, not exceeding 3 days of treatment.

• Swelling of the legs or feet

Precautions:

• Use with caution in individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease, kidney or liver impairment.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
