ZOLADEX Depot 10.8mg contains Goserelin acetate, a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue used for the long-term management of hormone-sensitive conditions. This formulation provides a 12-week controlled-release therapy through a biodegradable subcutaneous implant.
ZOLADEX 10.8mg is primarily indicated for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, hormone-sensitive breast cancer in premenopausal women, and endometriosis. It works by downregulating the pituitary gland, leading to suppression of sex hormone production (testosterone or estrogen), thereby slowing disease progression.
