MONTELUKAST (UCON) 10mg Chewable Tablets (30’s) provide an easy-to-administer form of montelukast for the management of asthma and allergic rhinitis. Each chewable tablet contains Montelukast Sodium 10mg, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks leukotrienes—substances in the body responsible for inflammation and allergy symptoms affecting the airways.

UCON chewable tablets are ideal for patients who prefer or require a chewable option, ensuring ease of use without the need for water. This medication helps control and prevent chronic asthma symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath, while also relieving symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis including nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes. It may also prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.

Recommended for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older, these chewable tablets are taken once daily, usually in the evening, with or without food. They are intended for maintenance therapy and are not suitable for immediate relief of acute asthma attacks.
