SAFETELMI H (40/12.5)MG TABS 30’S

SAFETELMI H (40/12.5)MG Tablets (30’s) is a fixed-dose combination medication containing Telmisartan 40 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) 12.5 mg, designed for the effective management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps reduce excess fluid and salt from the body. Together, they work synergistically to lower blood pressure more effectively than either component alone.

This combination is often prescribed for patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. Consistent use of SAFETELMI H helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage, particularly in patients with co-existing conditions like diabetes.

The 30-tablet pack provides a convenient one-month supply for once-daily dosing.

Usage: Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning, with or without food, as directed by your physician.
