SAFETELMI H (80/12.5)MG TABS 30’S

SAFETELMI H (80/12.5)MG Tablets (30’s) combine two antihypertensive agents: Telmisartan 80 mg, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg, a thiazide diuretic. This fixed-dose combination is indicated for the management of essential hypertension, particularly in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by Telmisartan alone.

Telmisartan works by blocking the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II, leading to relaxation of blood vessels and reduced blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide helps remove excess fluid and sodium through urine, further supporting blood pressure reduction.

Used once daily, SAFETELMI H effectively lowers high blood pressure, reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage, especially in high-risk patients.

Usage: Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning, with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Note: Not recommended during pregnancy. Periodic monitoring of kidney function, blood pressure, and electrolytes (especially potassium) is advised. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver impairment.
