Class: First-generation cephalosporin antibiotic
Indications
C-LEX Capsules are used to treat various bacterial infections such as:

Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis)

Otitis media (middle ear infections)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Bone and joint infections

Urinary tract infections

Dental infections
Dosage and Administration

Adults: Typically, 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 hours. For some infections, 500 mg every 12 hours may be sufficient. Severe infections might require up to 3 to 6 grams per day.

Children: Dosage generally ranges from 25–100 mg/kg/day divided into doses, not exceeding 4 grams daily.
