CEFUROXIME (EXIME) TABS 250MG 10’S

EXIME 250mg Tablets contain Cefuroxime axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections. This oral tablet formulation is designed for convenient and reliable treatment of various bacterial illnesses in adults and adolescents.

Indications:
EXIME 250mg is prescribed for treating infections such as:

• Upper respiratory tract infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis)

• Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Urinary tract infections

• Early Lyme disease and uncomplicated gonorrhea

Dosage and Administration:
The usual adult dose is 250 mg twice daily or as directed by a physician. It is best taken after meals to improve absorption. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, and the full course should be completed even if symptoms improve earlier to avoid resistance.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to Cefuroxime, cephalosporins, or beta-lactam antibiotics.
