Description
MONTELUKAST (MONTEC) 10mg Tablets (14’s) are used for the long-term management of asthma and the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium 10mg, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that works by blocking leukotrienes—chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, airway tightening, and allergy symptoms.
MONTEC 10mg helps reduce symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and breathing difficulty in patients with asthma. It is also effective in treating seasonal allergic rhinitis, relieving nasal congestion, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. Additionally, it may be used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.
This 14-tablet pack provides a two-week supply for once-daily treatment and is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older. It is intended for daily use as maintenance therapy and should not be used to treat sudden asthma attacks.
