LACOFF CODEINE 100ML

Lacoff Codeine 100 mL Syrup is a combination medication used to relieve persistent, dry, and non-productive coughs associated with upper respiratory tract infections and allergies.

Active Ingredients:

• Codeine Phosphate: A narcotic cough suppressant that acts on the brain’s cough center to reduce the urge to cough.

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride: An antihistamine that alleviates allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and itching.

Indications:

• Relief of dry, hacking coughs

• Alleviation of allergic symptoms like sneezing and nasal congestion

• Temporary relief of throat irritation

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL every 4–6 hours as needed

• Children 6–12 years: 5 mL every 4–6 hours as needed

• Children 2–6 years: 2.5 mL every 4–6 hours as needed

Do not exceed 60 mL in 24 hours for adults.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children under 2 years old.

• Use with caution in individuals with a history of respiratory disorders, liver or kidney disease, or gastrointestinal problems.

• May cause drowsiness; avoid alcohol and operating heavy machinery while using this medication.

Side Effects:

• Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, constipation

• Less common: Blurred vision, dry mouth, urinary retention
