OMEPRAZOLE (UPRONE) 40mg Injection is a fast-acting proton pump inhibitor (PPI) formulated for intravenous (IV) administration, designed to effectively reduce excessive stomach acid in acute or hospital-based settings. It is indicated for the treatment of severe gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, especially when oral administration is not suitable.

UPRONE works by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system (proton pump) in the gastric parietal cells, providing rapid suppression of gastric acid secretion. This allows for quick symptom relief and promotes healing of acid-related gastrointestinal damage.

Each vial contains 40mg of Omeprazole, sterile and ready for IV use under the guidance of a healthcare professional. The pack includes 1 single-dose vial, ideal for acute management.
