Description

AMICA TABS 20’S is a combination medication containing:

• Tranexamic Acid (500 mg): A synthetic antifibrinolytic agent that helps reduce excessive bleeding by inhibiting the breakdown of fibrin, a protein essential for blood clotting.

• Mefenamic Acid (250 mg): A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that alleviates pain and inflammation.

Indications:

AMICA is primarily used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) and to relieve pain associated with dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).

Dosage:

• Adults: Take one tablet three times daily during menstruation, or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and headache. Serious side effects are rare but can include allergic reactions or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, renal impairment, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants unless advised by a healthcare provider.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
