ANADOL CAPSULES (20’s)

ANADOL Capsules contain Tramadol Hydrochloride, a centrally acting synthetic analgesic used to manage moderate to severe pain. Tramadol works by inhibiting the reuptake of neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine, thereby modifying the transmission of pain impulses. It also stimulates mu-opioid receptors, contributing to its pain-relieving effects.

Key Features:

• Effective Pain Relief: Indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe painful conditions, including postoperative pain, colic and spastic pain, cancer pain, joint pain, neck and back pain, and pain associated with osteoporosis.
• Dosage Flexibility: The usual adult dose is 50 to 100 mg every four to six hours, with a maximum daily dose not exceeding 400 mg. For sustained release formulations, one capsule every 12 hours is recommended.
• Mode of Action: Tramadol’s analgesic effects are mediated via stimulation of mu-opioid receptors and indirect modulation of central monoaminergic inhibitory pathways.

Precautions:

• Medical Supervision: Use under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
• Contraindications: Not recommended for individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to Tramadol or those with acute intoxication from alcohol, hypnotics, centrally acting analgesics, opioids, or psychotropic drugs.
• Pregnancy and Lactation: Safety during pregnancy has not been established; should be used only if the potential benefit justifies the risk to the fetus. Tramadol is excreted in breast milk; caution is advised when administered to nursing mothers. (Medex)
