Description

ARCOXIA TABS 90MG 28’S contain etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor in the NSAID class, designed to reduce pain and inflammation associated with various conditions.

Indications:

• Osteoarthritis: Alleviates joint pain and stiffness.

• Rheumatoid Arthritis: Reduces inflammation and pain in joints.

• Ankylosing Spondylitis: Relieves spinal pain and stiffness.

• Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain: Manages long-term pain conditions.

• Acute Gouty Arthritis: Provides relief during gout attacks.

• Postoperative Dental Pain: Offers short-term pain relief following dental procedures.

Dosage:

• Osteoarthritis: 30 mg to 60 mg once daily.

• Rheumatoid Arthritis & Ankylosing Spondylitis: 60 mg once daily; may increase to 90 mg daily if necessary.

• Acute Gouty Arthritis: 120 mg once daily, limited to 8 days.

• Postoperative Dental Pain: 90 mg once daily, not exceeding 3 days.

Side Effects:

• Common: Stomach pain, headache, dizziness, swelling of legs or feet, increased blood pressure.

• Serious: Chest pain, shortness of breath, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), severe stomach pain, allergic reactions.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in individuals with cardiovascular, liver, or kidney issues.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.

• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or blood thinners.
