Description

Asomex-LT Tablets (60’s)

Composition:

• Amlodipine Besilate: 5 mg

• Losartan Potassium: 50 mg

Indications:
Asomex-LT is prescribed for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure). This combination therapy helps in reducing the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications associated with high blood pressure.

Mechanism of Action:

• Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that dilates blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

• Losartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel constriction, further aiding in blood pressure reduction.

Dosage and Administration:

• The typical dosage is one tablet taken orally once daily, with or without food.
