AVAMYS AQ NASAL SPRAY 120 D

Avamys AQ (fluticasone furoate) is a corticosteroid nasal spray used to treat both seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis, including associated eye symptoms such as itching and redness.

Key Features:

• Each spray delivers 27.5 µg of active corticosteroid

• 120 metered doses in one amber bottle with a plastic casing

• Fine mist designed for comfortable, effective nasal administration

• Delivers powerful anti-inflammatory action for up to 24 hours

Uses:

• Relief from sneezing, nasal congestion, runny or itchy nose

• Helps reduce eye symptoms like watery, itchy, or red eyes

• Suitable for adults and adolescents (12 years and up) and children (6–11 years)

Dosage:

• Adults & teens (12+): Start with 2 sprays per nostril once daily (total 110 µg). After symptoms improve, reduce to 1 spray per nostril (55 µg).

• Children (6–11): Begin with 1 spray per nostril daily (55 µg). If needed, can increase to 2 sprays per nostril (110 µg), then reduce to maintenance dose.

• Onset of relief may begin within 8 hours; optimal effect typically takes several days of consistent use

Precautions:

• Avoid using in children under 6 years

• Premedication “priming” of 6 sprays is necessary before first use or after 30 days of disuse

• Use regular dosing, even if symptoms temporarily ease

• Do not spray in the eyes or mouth

Possible Side Effects:

• Nosebleeds, nasal ulcers, burning or dryness in the nose

• Sore throat or upper respiratory symptoms

Storage:

• Keep upright, at room temperature (4–30 °C)

• Protect from direct heat and sunlight

• Keep out of reach of children
