AVELON (AVELOX) 400MG Tablets (10’s)

Avelon is the brand name for moxifloxacin 400 mg, a potent fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat a wide range of moderate to severe bacterial infections.

Key Features:

• Contains moxifloxacin 400 mg per tablet

• Broad-spectrum antibiotic with activity against gram-positive, gram-negative, and atypical bacteria

• Once-daily oral tablet format for ease of use

• Excellent tissue penetration, including the lungs and sinuses

Uses:

• Treatment of community-acquired pneumonia and bronchitis

• Effective for sinusitis and skin/soft tissue infections

• Used in complicated intra-abdominal infections

• Suitable for certain eye infections when administered in ophthalmic form

Dosage:

• Typically one 400 mg tablet once daily for 5–14 days, depending on the infection

• Take with or without food

• Complete the full course as prescribed, even if symptoms improve

Precautions:

• Not for use in people with a known allergy to moxifloxacin or other fluoroquinolones

• Use with caution in individuals with tendon disorders or nervous system conditions

• May interact with certain medications; always inform your healthcare provider of all current treatments
