Axim CV combines Cefuroxime Axetil 250 mg (a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic) with Clavulanic Acid 62.5 mg (a beta-lactamase inhibitor), designed to treat a broad range of bacterial infections.

🩺 Indications

Axim CV is prescribed for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

• Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis (e.g., Streptococcus pyogenes)

• Acute Otitis Media (e.g., Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae)

• Sinusitis (e.g., Streptococcus pneumoniae)

• Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis

• Uncomplicated Skin and Soft Tissue Infections (e.g., Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes)

• Urinary Tract Infections (e.g., E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae)

• Gonorrhoea

• Typhoid Fever
