Benacoff Paediatric Expectorant Syrup is specifically designed for children’s cough management. Its age-appropriate formula combines an expectorant with a mild cough suppressant to help loosen mucus, soothe throat irritation, and reduce coughing episodes. The “C/P” indicates a combined formulation suitable for productive and irritating coughs in pediatric patients.

Active Ingredients (per 5 ml)

• Guaifenesin – An expectorant that thins and loosens mucus for easier clearance from the airways

• Dextromethorphan – A non-narcotic cough suppressant that helps reduce the urge to cough

Indications

Benacoff Paediatric Expectorant is indicated for:

• Cough associated with childhood colds, flu, or respiratory infections

• Productive (wet) cough with difficulty clearing mucus

• Dry or irritating cough that disrupts sleep or daily activities

Dosage & Administration

Shake well before each use. Measure using the supplied cap or a calibrated spoon. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed.

Storage

Store at room temperature (below 25 °C) in a dry location. Keep bottle tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and reach of children.

• May cause mild drowsiness or dizziness in some children

• Use with caution in those with asthma, chronic respiratory conditions, or rare enzyme deficiencies

• Only use during pregnancy or breastfeeding under a healthcare provider’s supervision

• Avoid using other cough or cold remedies concurrently unless approved by a doctor
