Description
BIZORAN 5MG/20MG TABS 30’S is a combination medication containing amlodipine (5 mg) and olmesartan medoxomil (20 mg). Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, while olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that prevents blood vessel constriction. Together, they effectively lower blood pressure and help reduce the risk of heart-related complications.
Indications:
Used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduce cardiovascular risk in patients with elevated blood pressure.
Dosage:
Usually, one tablet is taken once daily. The dose may be adjusted after 1–2 weeks based on blood pressure response. Maximum recommended dose is 10 mg amlodipine with 40 mg olmesartan once daily.
Precautions:
Not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment. Regular blood pressure monitoring is advised.
Possible Side Effects:
May include dizziness, headache, fatigue, swelling of ankles or feet, flushing, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and elevated potassium levels.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
