Description
SEFUR 125mg/5ml Suspension (70ml) contains Cefuroxime axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic formulated as an oral suspension. It is indicated for use in pediatric patients to treat a broad spectrum of bacterial infections effectively.
Indications:
SEFUR Suspension is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis)

Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, mild to moderate pneumonia)

Urinary tract infections

Skin and soft tissue infections

Acute otitis media

Early Lyme disease (in children over 2 years, when clinically appropriate)
Dosage and Administration:
Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure even distribution. Administer orally after meals to improve absorption and reduce the risk of gastrointestinal discomfort. The dosage should be tailored to the patient’s weight, age, and severity of infection. Use a calibrated measuring device for accurate dosing.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Cefuroxime, cephalosporins, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.

Side Effects:

Storage:
Store the dry powder below 25°C. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C and use within 7 to 10 days. Keep out of reach of children.
