CELSTAR 200mg Capsules (10’s) contain Celecoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated in capsule form. Manufactured by Pharmatec Pharmaceuticals, CELSTAR is commonly prescribed to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.

Indications:
CELSTAR Capsules are indicated for:

• Osteoarthritis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Acute pain, including postoperative pain

• Primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)

Dosage and Administration:

• Osteoarthritis: 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily. May increase to 200 mg twice daily if necessary.

• Rheumatoid arthritis: 100–200 mg twice daily.

• Ankylosing spondylitis: 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily. May increase to 400 mg daily if necessary.

• Acute pain: 400 mg on the first day, followed by 200 mg twice daily as needed.

• Dysmenorrhea: 400 mg initially, followed by 200 mg if necessary.
  Dosage should be individualized based on patient condition and response to therapy.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to Celecoxib or other NSAIDs

• History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs

• Active gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers

• Severe hepatic or renal impairment

• Use during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, and breastfeeding is generally not recommended; consult a healthcare provider

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors

• Monitor for signs of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration

• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants unless directed by a healthcare professional
