Description
CELSTAR 200mg Capsules (50’s) contain Celecoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated in capsule form. Manufactured by Pharmatec Pharmaceuticals, CELSTAR is commonly prescribed to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.
Indications:
CELSTAR Capsules are indicated for:

Osteoarthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis

Ankylosing spondylitis
-
Acute pain, including postoperative pain

Primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)
Dosage and Administration:

Osteoarthritis: 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily. May increase to 200 mg twice daily if necessary.

Rheumatoid arthritis: 100–200 mg twice daily.

Ankylosing spondylitis: 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily. May increase to 400 mg daily if necessary.

Acute pain: 400 mg on the first day, followed by 200 mg twice daily as needed.

Dysmenorrhea: 400 mg initially, followed by 200 mg if necessary.
Dosage should be individualized based on patient condition and response to therapy.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Celecoxib or other NSAIDs

History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs

Active gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers

Severe hepatic or renal impairment

Use during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, and breastfeeding is generally not recommended; consult a healthcare provider
