CLINDAMYCIN (Clindar) 300mg/2mL Injection – Product Description
Clindamycin 300mg/2mL injection, marketed under the brand name Clindar, is a potent lincosamide antibiotic used to treat a variety of serious bacterial infections. It is available in a single 2mL ampoule, each containing 300mg of clindamycin. Manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., this product is designed for intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) administration.
Indications:
Clindamycin is effective against infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria and certain aerobic gram-positive organisms, including:

Intra-abdominal infections

Dosage and Administration:

Adults: For serious infections, administer 600–1,200 mg/day in 2–4 divided doses. For more severe infections, doses may be increased up to 4,800 mg/day under medical supervision.

Intravenous (IV) Administration: Dilute the injection in 50–100 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% glucose solution and infuse over 30–60 minutes.

Intramuscular (IM) Administration: Administer deep into a large muscle mass.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin.
