Clindap Gel is a topical medication containing clindamycin phosphate, an antibiotic effective against acne-causing bacteria. It is commonly used for the treatment of acne vulgaris, helping to reduce inflammation and bacterial growth on the skin.
Indications:
This gel is primarily prescribed for managing mild to moderate acne by decreasing the number of pimples and preventing new acne lesions from forming. It is suitable for use on affected areas such as the face, back, and chest.
Dosage and Administration:
Apply a thin layer of the gel once daily to clean, dry skin, preferably in the evening. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Consistent use over several weeks is typically needed to see improvement.
Precautions:
Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays during treatment, as the gel may increase skin sensitivity. Discontinue use if severe irritation, redness, or allergic reactions occur. Not intended for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use.
