Description
Clotel C Tablets are a fixed-dose combination of Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone, used to effectively manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, while Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water pill) that helps reduce fluid retention and lowers blood pressure by eliminating excess salt and water from the body.
Indications:
Indicated for the treatment of hypertension, especially in patients requiring combination therapy for better blood pressure control.
Dosage and Administration:
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Take at the same time each day for optimal results.
Precautions:
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease, gout, or electrolyte imbalance. Regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolyte levels is advised.
Side Effects:
May include dizziness, increased urination, low blood pressure, or changes in electrolyte levels. Seek medical attention for signs of dehydration, muscle cramps, or severe dizziness.
