Description
EXFORGE HCT 10mg/160mg/12.5mg 28’s is a prescription combination medication used for the effective management of high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains three active ingredients: Amlodipine (10mg), a calcium channel blocker; Valsartan (160mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB); and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg), a thiazide diuretic.
This triple-combination therapy works synergistically to reduce blood pressure through multiple mechanisms:

Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by reducing calcium influx, improving blood flow.

Valsartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, preventing blood vessel constriction.

Hydrochlorothiazide promotes the elimination of excess salt and water, lowering blood volume and pressure.
EXFORGE HCT is indicated for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with dual therapy. Consistent use reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke.
Dosage: Take one tablet daily, preferably at the same time each day, or as directed by a healthcare provider. Do not discontinue without medical advice.
