Description
Glandin E2 Tablets 4’s (Prostin E2) contain dinoprostone, a naturally occurring prostaglandin E₂ used primarily in obstetrics to help soften and dilate the cervix (cervical ripening) and induce labor in pregnant women. This medication is also used in the medical management of missed or incomplete abortion by stimulating uterine contractions to expel uterine contents.

Important Precautions:

Not to be used in cases of allergy to prostaglandins, active genital infections, placenta previa, ruptured membranes, previous cesarean section or major uterine surgery, fetal distress, abnormal fetal position, or multiple pregnancies.

Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease, and certain neurological conditions such as asthma or epilepsy.

Possible Side Effects:
