Glencet (Levocetirizine) 5mg Tablets 30’s

Glencet contains Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg, a non-sedating, second-generation antihistamine used for the effective relief of allergy symptoms. It is commonly prescribed for both seasonal and perennial allergic conditions.

Key Features:

• Fast-acting allergy relief with once-daily dosing

• Non-sedating formula, suitable for daytime use

• Provides relief from sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, and skin rashes

• Suitable for long-term management of chronic urticaria and allergic rhinitis

Indications:

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever)

• Perennial allergic rhinitis (dust/pollen/allergen related)

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults and adolescents (12 years and above): One tablet (5mg) once daily, preferably in the evening

• Can be taken with or without food

• Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice

Precautions:

• May cause mild drowsiness in some individuals — use caution when driving or operating machinery

• Use with care in patients with kidney impairment — dose adjustment may be necessary

• Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Possible Side Effects:

• Drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, or headache

• Rarely: dizziness, abdominal pain, or allergic skin reactions
