GLYSIT 10 mg Tablets contain Empagliflozin, a selective SGLT2 (Sodium-Glucose Co-Transporter 2) inhibitor used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Empagliflozin works by preventing glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, promoting its excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood glucose levels independently of insulin.
