The Hepatitis B Paediatric Vaccine is a recombinant vaccine formulated to provide active immunization against Hepatitis B virus (HBV) in infants and children. Each single-dose vial contains 0.5mL of purified Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), produced using recombinant DNA technology and adsorbed on an aluminum-based adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity.
This vaccine is recommended as part of the routine childhood immunization schedule, typically administered at birth and followed by additional doses as per national guidelines.
