Description
Ketoconazole (Ketoziral) Tablets 200mg 100’s are oral antifungal tablets used for the treatment of systemic and severe fungal infections. Each tablet contains 200mg of Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes—thereby stopping the growth and spread of fungal pathogens.
Ketoziral is indicated for fungal infections that cannot be managed with topical therapy alone, such as systemic candidiasis, histoplasmosis, blastomycosis, and certain chronic dermatophyte infections. It may also be used for severe cases of seborrheic dermatitis or pityriasis versicolor under strict medical supervision.
This pack of 100 tablets is suitable for long-term therapy as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Due to potential liver toxicity, Ketoconazole oral tablets should be used only when alternative antifungal treatments are unavailable or unsuitable.
