LABNIR DRY SUSP 125MG/5ML 60ML

Labnir Dry Suspension 125mg/5mL (60mL) contains Cefdinir, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections in children.

Uses:

• Throat infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis)

• Ear infections (otitis media)

• Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

Dosage & Administration:

• Shake well after reconstitution with water as per label instructions

• Dosage depends on the child’s weight and severity of infection

• Administer using a proper measuring device or spoon

Precautions:

• Not effective for viral infections like the flu or common cold

• Avoid using antacids or iron supplements within 2 hours of taking this medicine

• Use with caution in children with a known allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins

Possible Side Effects:

• Mild: Diarrhea, nausea, rash

• Rare: Allergic reactions or severe diarrhea (notify doctor if these occur)

Storage:

• Store reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator (2–8°C)
