Product Description:
Lipiglax 10mg Tablets contain rosuvastatin, a potent statin medication used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications in individuals with high cholesterol or existing heart conditions.
Uses:
- Treats high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia)
- Manages mixed dyslipidemia
- Supports prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk individuals
- Used in familial hypercholesterolemia
Mechanism of Action:
Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver. This reduces LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while increasing HDL (good cholesterol).
Dosage & Administration:
- Take one tablet daily, with or without food.
- Take at the same time each day.
