MONTELUKAST (MONAS) 10mg Tablets (30’s) are a once-daily oral medication used for the long-term management of asthma and the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium 10mg, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps prevent airway inflammation and constriction by blocking leukotrienes — chemical mediators involved in allergic and asthmatic responses.
MONAS 10mg is indicated for use in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older. It helps control chronic asthma symptoms such as wheezing, breathlessness, and nighttime coughing. It also provides effective relief from seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy, watery eyes. Additionally, it may help prevent bronchospasm triggered by exercise.
This 30-tablet pack provides a full month of convenient once-daily dosing, typically taken in the evening, with or without food. MONAS is not suitable for the treatment of acute asthma attacks.
