Newcox 60mg Tablets 30’s contain Etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor from the NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) class. It is primarily used for the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, chronic low back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute musculoskeletal disorders.

Etoricoxib selectively blocks the COX-2 enzyme, reducing the production of prostaglandins that cause pain, swelling, and inflammation—while sparing COX-1, which protects the gastrointestinal lining. This selectivity offers effective relief with a lower risk of GI side effects compared to traditional NSAIDs.
