Nystatin (Labstatin) Oral Suspension 30mL is an effective antifungal medication used to treat and prevent fungal infections of the mouth, throat, and intestines. Each milliliter contains 100,000 units of Nystatin, a potent polyene antifungal agent that targets Candida species, the common cause of oral thrush and other mucosal infections.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 4–6 mL orally, 4 times daily. Swish in the mouth thoroughly before swallowing.

Children: 2–4 mL orally, 4 times daily.

Treatment should continue for at least 48 hours after symptoms resolve to prevent relapse.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Nystatin or any ingredient in the formulation.
Side Effects:

Generally well tolerated; rare cases of nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

No systemic absorption, so systemic side effects are uncommon.
