TAMZED-DUO Capsules – 10’s are a combination medication formulated to effectively manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This dual-action capsule typically combines Tamsulosin (0.4mg), an alpha-1 blocker that relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow, with Dutasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces the size of the enlarged prostate over time by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

This combination offers both immediate relief from urinary symptoms such as weak stream, frequent urination, and urgency (via Tamsulosin) and long-term reduction in prostate size (via Dutasteride), improving overall urinary function and quality of life.
