TUNACLAV 457 DT Tablets 10’s are dispersible tablets containing a combination of Amoxicillin 400 mg and Clavulanic Acid 57 mg. This antibiotic combination provides a broad spectrum of activity against various bacterial infections, including those caused by beta-lactamase producing resistant strains.
Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Clavulanic Acid acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, protecting Amoxicillin from enzymatic degradation and enhancing its effectiveness.
